The only thing I liked about Pocono Inne was the location. It was fairly close to everything.
The hotel was disgusting, dirty, and smelly. Once we checked into our room it smelled like a wet dog. The staff at the hotel would not accommodate us into another room they kept explaining to us there were no other rooms available. As we returned to our room from camel beach my kids started getting ready for bed and my son lay on the bed and said to me that the sheets smells like urine, when I checked the sheets it had a huge stiff yellow urine stain. I raised hell to the front desk and even then they would not accommodate us. They would not change our rooms nor would they reimburse us any money. It was the most horrific time I have ever spent in a hotel. It was disgusting and dirty. I had nite mares sleeping in that room. I would never return nor would I ever recommend this hotel to anyone!!!!!
we enjoyed the proximity of the little shops, the freindliness of the staff as well as the ease of use the cabs, the cab drivers were very friendly and helpful
The staff very helpful & Location excellent.
Attentive staff, nice heated pool open morning till 10pm every night with a restaurant on location.
Wi Fi was not available in my first room but I was offered another room the second day which had good wi fi reception
The hotel, although seems dated is well maintained and almost kitsch. Nice settings in middle of town.
Sadly for an European at least the breakfast has to be avoided at all costs. Its in the basement level in claustrophobic room served from plastic plates on plastic tables with plastic taste. Good thing is there's plenty of other options around.
This is a non-smoking facility, but the smell of smoking cigarettes in the rooms is very strong.
It was close to local dining and attractions.
An absolute bargain. Got a great rate through Booked.net I was only going to stay one night, but immediately booked a second night on arrival. The staff were friendly, the room was quiet, even though it overlooked the street, and well-equipped (although no fridge, but that didn't matter to me.) The town (Stroudsburg) has a great selection of bars and eateries and has many historic links. Surrounding country (Poconos Mountains) very picturesque.
Even for a "continental" breakfast, the fare was very basic. However, there are places in town where a very reasonable full breakfast may be sourced - I would recommend "Little Angels," which is about a five minute walk away from the hotel.
Friendly, helpful staff. Quiet, relaxed atmosphere. Spacious breakfast area with plentiful food.
Hotel needs refreshing, although the look of the common areas and of the guest rooms should be preserved because there is a quaintness that adds to the atmosphere. Hair dryer in the room did not work. Sheets on the bed were too short and could not be tucked at both ends of the bed. No mattress covers or protectors.
Best part is the location. You can park your car for the night and walk to all the restaurants and bars in Stroudsburg, PA.
Rooms need a little updating. Brighter colors to lighten up the room. Beds were comfortable. Rooms not great if you have to spend a lot of time in them.
They have new owners and the new owners are doing a great job and improving the Inne both in staff and in facility updates.
It sure would be nice to see the new renovations by next year.
nothing very dirty had to go out and get clean linen didnt sleep we left very early in the morning stayed in our car till our time share was ready was very disappointed never stay there again.
I would,nt recommend this hotel to any one i would,nt advertised this place anymore it make Booked.net look very bad.
This hotel was built in the late 1800's. The floors feel a little uneven at places, but the rooms are very spacious and the bathroom is large. It's a nice, comfortable hotel with a safe environment. Free parking is nice too.
1) the location was good for us on our way to NYC and we needed a rest 2) although the price is good, but I anyway would not define it as "you get what you pay for"
1) ok, it was only 66$ but in the middle of nowhere, so you expect for a fair room to sleep one night in 2) the heater did not work, our kids were freezing even after we got extra blankets, it was low 30th F outside 3) the hotel is very old and needs a massive overhaul, may be because of this, it felt extremely unclean
The staff is very nice,
needs serious makeover, was ok for price but not the most best place to stay, however apparently we were told they are doing a 2 million dollar makeover soon
